Chemical energy is engery stored in bonds of atoms and molecules. The energy is released when a chemical reactions takes place. Most of the time, once the chemical is released from a substance, it will complelety turn into another subtance.
Batteries, biomass, pertleum, coal etc. Are all examples of chemical energy.
